Ingredients
  

For the Cream Layer

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone
  • 4 oz white chocolate melted and cooled

For Assembly

  • 1 cup cherries halved
  • 1 package Ladyfingers
  • as needed Milk or cherry juice for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Whip the heavy cream with the sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the mascarpone and the cooled, melted white chocolate into the whipped cream mixture until just combined.
  • Dip the ladyfingers briefly into the milk or cherry juice. Do not soak them.
  • Layer the dipped ladyfingers, the cream mixture, and the halved cherries in a serving dish.
  • Cover the dish and chill the tiramisu for 4 to 6 hours before you serve it.

Notes

This dessert tastes best after it has set completely in the refrigerator. The white chocolate adds a comforting quality to this creamy dessert.
