- 500 g Ground beef or turkey
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 Bell peppers chopped
- 800 g Tomato sauce
- 750 ml Beef broth
- 120 g Uncooked rice
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- to taste Salt and pepper
Brown the meat with the onion in a skillet.
Transfer the browned meat and onion mixture to a soup pot or slow cooker.
Add the chopped peppers, tomato sauce, beef broth, and uncooked rice to the pot.
Season the mixture with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Simmer on the stovetop for 30 to 35 minutes, or slow cook on LOW for 6 hours.
Stir the soup before serving and adjust the seasoning if needed.
