Stuffed Pepper Dinner Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Bell peppers chopped
  • 800 g Tomato sauce
  • 750 ml Beef broth
  • 120 g Uncooked rice
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown the meat with the onion in a skillet.
  • Transfer the browned meat and onion mixture to a soup pot or slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped peppers, tomato sauce, beef broth, and uncooked rice to the pot.
  • Season the mixture with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer on the stovetop for 30 to 35 minutes, or slow cook on LOW for 6 hours.
  • Stir the soup before serving and adjust the seasoning if needed.
