Strawberry Santas with Whipped Cream

These festive Strawberry Santas are a fun and easy holiday treat. Made with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, they are perfect for Christmas parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Santas

  • 20 strawberries room temperature
  • 1 cup vegan whipped cream or 1 tube vanilla icing
  • 1 tube black decorating gel

Instructions
 

  • Wash the strawberries and pat them dry. Room temperature strawberries work best for this recipe.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice off the top/green part of the strawberry. Make sure the cut leaves the bottom with a large flat surface.
  • About 1/3 of the way to the tip of the strawberry, make another cut. This is for Santa's hat.
  • Place a dollop of icing or whipped cream on top of the bottom part of the strawberry. Use a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped off.
  • Place the pointed top on the filling as Santa's hat. Add a small dollop of icing on the point for the pom-pom.

Notes

These Strawberry Santas are best served fresh. You can also use vegan cream cheese as a filling alternative.
