Ingredients
  

For the Pasta and Sauce

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 3 cups marinara sauce

For the Garlic Bread Bowls

  • 2 bread bowls
  • 3 tbsp butter softened
  • 2 garlic cloves minced

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • As needed Fresh basil optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook the spaghetti following the directions on the package.
  • Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Mix the softened butter and minced garlic together in a small bowl.
  • Brush the inside surfaces of the bread bowls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake the prepared bread bowls at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp.
  • Drain the cooked spaghetti and toss it with the heated marinara sauce.
  • Fill the warm garlic bread bowls with the sauced pasta.
  • Top each bowl with grated parmesan and fresh basil, if you are using it.

Notes

This presentation focuses on rich sauce and crispy bread texture. You can add cooked ground meat to the marinara for a heartier meal.
