Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the chicken in olive oil for 5 to 6 minutes per side until it is golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté briefly. Add the chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and oregano to the skillet.
  • Simmer the sauce mixture for 3 to 4 minutes until it reduces slightly.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Coat the chicken completely in the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken with rice or vegetables. Garnish the dish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.
