Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, diced
  • 800 g crushed tomatoes
  • 750 ml chicken broth
  • 120 g whole wheat pasta
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground turkey with the chopped onion in a pot over medium heat.
  • Add the diced zucchini, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth to the pot.
  • Season the mixture with oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the soup to a simmer and cook for 25 minutes.
  • Add the whole wheat pasta and continue to cook until the pasta is soft.
  • Serve the soup hot as a lighter meal resembling lasagna.

Notes

This recipe provides familiar lasagna taste in a simple soup format. You can substitute ground turkey with ground beef or ground chicken if you prefer.
