Garlic Herb Baked Onions

Garlic and herbs transformed this into a side dish that felt familiar but elevated. This recipe provides a simple, aromatic side dish perfect for any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large onions
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper To taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the onions on separate sheets of aluminum foil.
  • Top each onion with butter, minced garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Wrap the foil tightly around each onion to seal in the moisture.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the onions are tender.
  • Serve the baked onions warm as a side dish.
