Ingredients
  

Sandwich

  • 2 slices brioche or Texas toast
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar optional
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  • 2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread.
  • 3. Spread strawberry jam on the other slice.
  • 4. Close the sandwich with both spreads facing inward.
  • 5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  • 7. Optional: Sprinkle or roll the sandwich in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
  • 8. Remove from pan, let cool for one minute.
  • 9. Slice in half and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother filling.
Press edges of the sandwich gently with a spatula while frying to seal in filling.
For extra indulgence, drizzle with chocolate or serve with ice cream.
