Cuisine American
- 400 g ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 500 g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 L chicken broth
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 2 g salt
- 1 g black pepper
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
Add onion and garlic, cook 3–4 minutes until soft.
Stir in potatoes and chicken broth.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 18–20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Stir in cream, salt, and pepper.
Simmer 5 more minutes and serve hot.
I tested this soup focusing on texture; the potatoes should be tender but not mushy after simmering.
