Coconut Chocolate Chip Bars

The first time I cut into these bars, the chocolate was still warm and stretching between slices. It was one of those moments where you instantly know a recipe is going to become a repeat favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 120 g butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g chocolate chips
  • 100 g coconut flakes

Instructions
 

  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the flour.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and coconut flakes until they are evenly distributed in the batter.
  • Spread the batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
  • Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
