Fondue

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp dried herbs (parsley, thyme)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk gently in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Toss the shredded cheese with cornstarch in a separate bowl.
  • Add the cheese mixture gradually to the warm milk, stirring constantly until the cheese begins to melt.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and dried herbs.
  • Continue stirring until the fondue is smooth and fully melted.
  • Serve the fondue hot with bread or vegetables for dipping.

Notes

This fondue is best served immediately. If it thickens too much, add a splash of milk while reheating gently.
