Cinnamon Streusel Banana Bread

This recipe creates a banana bread with a comforting, aromatic cinnamon streusel topping. The streusel topping is the detail that makes this simple loaf special.

Ingredients
  

Banana Bread

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 120 g melted butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 190 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Streusel Topping

  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 50 g flour
  • 40 cold butter

Instructions
 

  • Mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together.
  • Add the flour and baking soda to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
  • For the streusel, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and cold butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the batter in the pan.
  • Bake at 175°C for 55 to 60 minutes.
