Churro Cheesecake Bites

These Churro Cheesecake Bites combine a creamy cheesecake center with a crispy, cinnamon-sugar coating. They are simple to make using ready-made dough and disappear quickly when served.

Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 2 cans Ready-made crescent dough or puff pastry
  • 225 g Cream cheese, softened
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Cinnamon Coating

  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp Melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Mix the softened cream cheese, 100g sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  • Press one sheet of the crescent dough into your baking tray.
  • Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  • Place the second sheet of dough on top of the filling.
  • Brush the top dough layer with melted butter. Mix the 50g sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon together, then sprinkle this cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered top.
  • Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Allow the dessert to cool completely before cutting it into bite-size squares.

Notes

During testing, these disappeared faster than anything else on the table—always the clearest sign a dessert truly works.
