For the Base
- 2 cans Ready-made crescent dough or puff pastry
- 225 g Cream cheese, softened
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Cinnamon Coating
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 3 tbsp Melted butter
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Mix the softened cream cheese, 100g sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
Press one sheet of the crescent dough into your baking tray.
Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the dough layer.
Place the second sheet of dough on top of the filling.
Brush the top dough layer with melted butter. Mix the 50g sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon together, then sprinkle this cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered top.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Allow the dessert to cool completely before cutting it into bite-size squares.
During testing, these disappeared faster than anything else on the table—always the clearest sign a dessert truly works.
