Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
This recipe makes a moist banana bread filled with chocolate chips. It is a favorite for children and makes a good quick bread for breakfast or snacks.

Banana Bread Batter
- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 120 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 190 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
Mix the mashed bananas, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a bowl.
Add the flour and baking soda to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
My children always request the slices with the most chocolate chips. Watching their excitement as it comes out of the oven makes this recipe one of my favorites to bake for them.
