Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup ricotta or cottage cheese for topping

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the onion in a large pot until it becomes soft.
  • Add the garlic and cook briefly.
  • Stir in the tomatoes, broth, seasoning, and broken noodles.
  • Simmer the mixture until the noodles are tender.
  • Add the shredded chicken and heat it through.
  • Serve the soup with a spoonful of ricotta or cottage cheese placed on top of each bowl.
