Caprese Bites with Marinated Mozzarella

Ingredients
  

For the Bites

  • 1 package Fresh mozzarella balls Small, pearl size
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil leaves

For the Marinade

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Place the fresh mozzarella balls into a bowl.
  • Drizzle the mozzarella with olive oil and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  • Let the mozzarella marinate for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
  • Assemble the marinated mozzarella, a cherry tomato, and a basil leaf onto toothpicks.
  • Serve the Caprese Bites fresh.
