Ingredients
  

For the Tomato Topping

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 salt
  • 1 black pepper

For Assembly

  • 1 cup soft goat cheese
  • 1 Fresh basil chopped
  • 1 Baguette slices toasted (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Let the tomato mixture rest for 10 minutes to release flavor.
  • Spread goat cheese evenly into the bottom of a shallow serving dish.
  • Spoon the tomato mixture over the goat cheese layer.
  • Sprinkle with fresh basil.
  • Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices.
