Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients & Add-ins

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  • Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients gently. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Fill muffin liners about 3/4 full with the batter.
  • Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes before removing them from the tin.

Notes

For presentation, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top of the batter before baking and dust lightly with powdered sugar after cooling.
