Bakery Style Banana Bread
This recipe produces a soft, moist banana bread loaf with a texture similar to what you find in bakeries. Achieving this texture was key during testing.

Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
- 3 Ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a loaf pan.
In one bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients gently. Mix only until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool the banana bread completely before you slice it.
For a bakery look, slice thick pieces and serve them with butter spread on top.
