Authentic French Morning Treat

This recipe adapts classic French pastries for a simple, elegant breakfast. It reminds me how simple ingredients can feel incredibly refined.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 tbsp Butter For greasing
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar Optional, for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter.
  • Cut the puff pastry sheet into even triangles.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip to form crescent shapes.
  • Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.
  • Remove from the oven. Dust lightly with powdered sugar if you choose.

Notes

This treat is best served warm, straight from the oven, alongside coffee for a gentle morning experience.
