Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter.
Cut the puff pastry sheet into even triangles.
Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip to form crescent shapes.
Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky.
Remove from the oven. Dust lightly with powdered sugar if you choose.
