Ingredients
  

  • 32 oz refried beans
  • 1.5 oz taco seasoning 1 packet or homemade
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cups diced tomatoes
  • 2.25 oz sliced black olives

Optional toppings

  • 1 cup salsa
  • 0.5 cup chopped red onions
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • cooked shredded chicken or ground beef optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the refried beans with taco seasoning. Stir until completely smooth.
  • Evenly spread the seasoned beans into a 13x9-inch clear dish to form the base layer.
  • Spoon guacamole over the beans and spread to create the second layer.
  • Use a spatula to layer sour cream evenly over the guacamole.
  • Use sliced olives in the top-left corner for the 'stars' area. Alternate rows of shredded cheese and diced tomatoes to form red and white stripes.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Use a clear dish for best presentation. Optional toppings like salsa and lettuce can add more color and flavor. Plant-based alternatives can be used for a vegan version.
