Air Fryer Churro Nuggets

Ingredients
  

For the Churro Dough

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg

For the Coating and Serving

  • 1 cinnamon sugar To coat
  • 1 melted butter For brushing

Instructions
 

  • Heat the water, butter, and sugar in a saucepan until the mixture starts to simmer.
  • Add the flour all at once and mix until a smooth dough forms.
  • Remove the dough from the heat and let it cool slightly. Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
  • Pipe small nugget shapes onto parchment paper. You can use a piping bag with a star tip for a traditional look.
  • Air fry the nuggets at 190°C for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are golden brown. The texture should be crisp outside and airy inside.
  • Remove the nuggets from the air fryer. Brush them immediately with melted butter and then coat them thoroughly in cinnamon sugar.
  • Serve the Air Fryer Churro Nuggets immediately in a paper cone with chocolate dipping sauce.
