Coffee Brownies With Creamy Frosting Recipe

Rich and fudgy Coffee Brownies with Creamy Frosting, infused with bold coffee flavor and topped with a silky mocha frosting. These indulgent brownies are perfect for coffee and chocolate lovers alike, ideal for dessert, parties, or afternoon treats.

Ingredients

For the Brownies
120ml strong brewed coffee (dark roast recommended)
200g dark chocolate chopped
120g unsalted butter
150g granulated sugar
50g light brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
100g all-purpose flour
30g cocoa powder
½ tsp salt

For the Creamy Mocha Frosting
100g unsalted butter softened
200g powdered sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp strong brewed coffee cooled
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt

Instructions

Reduce the Coffee
Brew 120ml strong coffee and simmer it until reduced to 60ml for concentrated flavor Set aside to cool

Prepare the Brownie Batter
Melt butter and chopped chocolate together until smooth Stir in both sugars then the eggs one at a time Add the reduced coffee and vanilla Fold in flour cocoa powder and salt until just combined

Bake
Pour batter into a lined 8×8 inch 20x20cm pan Bake at 180°C 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes Let cool completely

Make the Frosting
Beat softened butter powdered sugar and cocoa powder until smooth Add the cooled coffee vanilla extract and a pinch of salt Beat until creamy

Assemble
Spread frosting over cooled brownies Cut into squares and serve

Notes

For extra crunch add 60g chopped walnuts to the brownie batter
If you want more coffee flavor add 1 tsp espresso powder to the frosting
For cleaner slices refrigerate brownies for 30 minutes before cutting
These brownies can be made a day ahead and frosted before serving
